VALTRALOC-Projekte

1990 erarbeitete der Kanton Freiburg für die Aufwertung der Ortsdurchfahrten das VALTRALOC-Konzept (VALorisation des espaces routiers en TRAversée de LOCalités). Die VALTRALOC-Projekte tragen durch eine situationsgerechte Anpassung des Strassenraums (Verkehrsberuhigungsmassnahmen und Aufwertung des öffentlichen Raums) dazu bei, die Interessen der Anwohnerinnen und Anwohner einerseits und die Mobilitäts- und Sicherheitsbedürfnisse in städtischen Gebieten andererseits optimal in Einklang zu bringen.
